FAQs


Is there a difference between Open Showroom and appointment-based shopping?

Yes! Open Showroom is a multi-day shopping experience that happens in our SoHo showroom throughout the year.  It's an opportunity to discover and try-on our complete seasonal collections in a curated environment. 

Appointment-based shopping offers a tailored VIP experience. If you have a specific wish list - from core styles to warehouse sale items - booking an appointment allows us to prepare those specific pieces for you in advance. 

Do I need to make an appointment to visit during Open Showroom hours?

No! Come one, come all.

When or why would I make a shopping appointment?

The NEWS is a multi-brand showroom, we are not always open to the public. If you'd like to shop when an Open Showroom event is not scheduled, or if you want a dedicated shopping experience and a prepared rack of clothes, please request an appointment. 

How to book an appointment:

  • subject line: Shopping Appt. Request
  • details to include: Your preferred shopping day/time, as well as the specific styles /sizes you'd like to try
  • showroom hours: Monday - Friday, 11am - 5pm (unless otherwise noted)
  • appointment duration: Appointments are generally 30 minutes, depending on needs.
  • confirmation: Our team will confirm your appointment via email; please allow for up to 48 hours for a response.

Does 6397 have a store?

No. Since closing the 6397 store-front in 2023, Open Showroom answers to the 6397 retail experience. We want to share our space and provide both current - and curious! - customers a place to explore 6397 IRL.
